Petals

sakura 01

Last spring, I was staying with my aunt in Vancouver, Canada. When the myriads of cherry trees in the streets bloomed, it was simply glorious. The air was perfume, sweet with a million pink flowers bursting forth out of the trees. It was so wonderful to stroll down those streets with each breeze bringing down …

Watermelon Raccoon

raccoon draft

I started this drawing last week, but then my carpal tunnel started acting up quite severely so my drawing hand was out of commission for a week. Sketchbook

artalive

ElectriciTree

Gorgeous artwork by Budi Satria Kwan, available as a print from Society6. The luminescence of this print is almost ethereal.

Amy Cuddy on body language

Fascinating video on TED Talks, one of my favourite video sites: Amy Cuddy talks about how not only do your feelings affect your posture, but your posture also feeds back into your feelings, as well. Many of us could do with the advice she gives on how to feel more at ease in stressful situations. …
